Our private Craft and Spa events are designed to bring people together through laughter, creativity, and shared experiences. Whether you’re planning a boho hen party, a stylish baby shower, a birthday celebration, or simply a special get-together with friends, we create experiences that are fun, unique, and completely stress-free.
Choose from a range of creative workshops including Painting, Flower crowns, Mixed media, Candle painting, Wreaths, Glass decorating, Block Print Tea Towels, Bath Bombs, Resin Dipping and more. No experience is needed — just a willingness to have fun, try something new and relax!
Book for your party of 6-12 guests.

Lovely experience at Tanglewood! Rachel was an amazing host, super friendly and provided us with everything we needed. The property is lovely and relaxing, especially the heated pool and the sauna! We did the highland cow experience which was really fun and something different none of us had tried. Made for an unforgettable birthday.

With over ten years of running Craft My Day, I’ve spent thousands of hours creating spaces where women can slow down, connect, and enjoy making something with their hands.
Tanglewood is a natural extension of that — a more personal, more intimate experience, shaped by everything I’ve learned about what women really need when they take time for themselves.

How many people can come?
Private Craft & Spa events are designed for small groups of 6–12 guests, keeping the experience personal and relaxed.
Does everyone need to be crafty?
Not at all. We choose activities that are enjoyable and achievable, even for people who haven’t made anything since school. The aim is to laugh, try something new and enjoy doing it together.
What kind of occasions work well at Tanglewood?
Hen parties, birthdays, baby showers, friendship groups and family get-togethers all work beautifully. You don’t need a big “occasion” either — sometimes getting everyone together is reason enough.
Can we choose the craft?
Yes. There’s a wide selection of creative activities available, and we’ll help you choose something that works well for your group, from wreaths and mixed media to painting, flower crowns, resin dipping and more
What is included?
Your private event includes your chosen craft workshop, all materials and equipment, refreshments, afternoon tea, use of the private spa facilities and robes, slippers and towels. Prices start from £120 per person depending on the craft selected.
Do we have to organise everything ourselves?
No. Once the date and craft are agreed, we prepare the experience for you. You arrive, enjoy the day and spend proper time together rather than worrying about entertaining everyone.
What happens if someone in my private group can no longer attend?
You’re welcome to transfer the place to another guest — just let us know the new attendee’s details and any dietary requirements.
How far in advance should we book a private event?
You can enquire about a private event right up until around one week beforehand, subject to availability. However, we recommend booking at least a month ahead wherever possible — partly so we can give you the best choice of dates, and partly because getting 6–12 people to find the same free day can sometimes be the hardest part!
Can I drink alcohol before using the spa?
For your safety, we ask guests not to use the hot tub or spa facilities while under the influence of alcohol. Please stay well hydrated throughout your visit and follow the spa guidance provided on the day. HSE guidance for commercial spa pools specifically advises against spa-pool use under the influence of alcohol or sedatives.
We only serve Alcohol Free refreshments, before Spa usage.
