Christmas Craft and Spa - Just £99 pp

Come and spend a wonderfully Christmassy four hours at Tanglewood, creating your own beautiful Seasonal items before enjoying two relaxing hours in our private spa.

We’ll begin in the studio with a relaxed two-hour Christmas workshop. Settle in with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie, enjoy making something lovely, and leave with a completely unique handmade piece to decorate your home or gift this Christmas.

Then, once the pieces are finished, it’s time to switch off.

You’ll have two hours to relax in Tanglewood’s private spa, giving you the chance to slow down, warm up and enjoy some proper time away from the Christmas rush.

It’s part Christmas workshop, part festive catch-up and part much-needed breather — all wrapped into one lovely afternoon.

Natural Wreath

using a gorgeous mixture of natural foliage and seasonal materials, much of it foraged from the grounds here at Tanglewood. You’ll learn how to build and decorate your wreath from scratch, with plenty of friendly help along the way, so you absolutely don’t need to think of yourself as “crafty”.

This is very much a fun, easy-going festive workshop rather than a serious floristry class.

Freemotion Christmas Cushion

In this engaging Freemotion embroidery class, you will delve into this captivating world to create a stunning piece of artwork. Guided by a skilled tutor, you'll discover how to layer fabrics and master new techniques to craft a one-of-a-kind machine embroidered piece. Sewing machine skills are not necessary, as we use the machine in a completely different way!

Resin Dipped Christmas Flowers and Foliage

Join us for this wonderful workshop creating everlasting Resin Dipped flowers 💐

Using wire techniques we create each petal individually to create a unique designs with a choice of colours.

Christmas Gonk

Create your own Gonk!

Loose yourself in a but of mess and happiness using Powertex to create these unique sculptures.

Christmas Card Making

Come along and make 5 handmade Christmas cards for your loved ones. Learn a variety of different techniques including die cutting, stamping, ink blending, embossing and more - this is a great introduction to the wonderful world of card making!

NeedleFelting

Discover the wonderful world of Needlefelting and create your own characterful animal design.

Had a fabulous day!! We started by making a spring wreath, I've always wanted to do this but never gotten around to it. Its now hanging on my front door and looks gorgeous Then we had a yummy afternoon tea lunch, the cakes were particularly tasty! And finally we had an afternoon chilling in the heated pool, sauna and jacuzzi! So nice to have something like that all to yourselves as it's in the garden of the Tanglewood studio. Keeping my eye out for another craft spa day soon :) Thanks Rachel for being a brilliant crafting teacher and spa host!

I spent a wonderful day at Tanglewood Studio. The craft spa experience I booked was Powertex Highland Cow. On arrival I was met by the wonderful host Rachel, who explained all about the day’s activities. In the morning session we crafted a miniature version of a Highland Cow using Powertex. A medium that I had not used before, her explanation was very helpful. Then lunch was then provided, which was excellent . The afternoon session was spent in the spa, was very relaxing. I highly recommend these craft and spa experiences day. I am looking forward to my next one.
